While we are a relatively small organisation, we like to do our bit for the community. Over the past six years or so we’ve been providing our services to help two Western Australian charities raise funds for their work in Tanzania.
Rafiki Surgical Missions sends volunteer medical teams to Tanzania where they undertake corrective surgery on children and adults with congenital facial deformities and burns injuries. The conditions the teams work under are almost impossible to describe, and the value of their work to the people they help is beyond words.
Australia Tanzania Young Ambassadors is a schools based program through which WA school students help Tanzanian schools by providing funds to drill water wells, build classrooms and provide school equipment.
Both of these groups do an amazing job and every dollar raised goes into providing very meaningful help to people in one of the world’s poorest countries.
